The expert in anything was once a beginner. Do what you can today and if it doesn't work out, try again tomorrow.

Probably the most detailed illustration I’ve ever made, and definitely the one that took me the longest to finish. While drawing scattered pens, cutting mats, and rulers all over the place, I kept thinking about my first year of design school and the all nighters we pulled to finish design projects.

The all nighters are behind me now, but the messy room? Still the same. Every surface still covered in random materials, notebooks, cables, and snacks..

At its core, this piece is about beginning. That moment before you take the first step, when you're not sure you're ready, and you're waiting to feel like you have everything figured out. But no one really starts as an expert.

Do what you can today. And if it doesn’t work out, there’s always tomorrow.
